Local Voices for Healthy Communities Quality of Care (6:48) — Broad Band
The goal of Sound Partners for Community Health is to help ordinary
people understand everyday health issues in their communities and
engage in solutions. Local Voices for Healthy Communities presents
highlights of the 29 radio and seven television projects funded in our
third grant round. These 36 partnerships across the country created
community outreach and programming in five health topic areas. Eight projects
focused on Quality of Care, looking at how and where health care is
delivered, what services are available and to whom.

KQED Hope on the Street (Stories)
KQED's website includes videosegments from the hour-long documentary Hope on the Street, with personal stories and interviews that help to destigmatize mental illness, illustrate how it ties into homelessness, and shows how family and community support can make recovery possible.
