Reaching Youth with Health Care Messages

YouthNet and Family Health International present a case study and evaluation of the "Staying Alive" global HIV prevention campaign, which had a goal of reaching 800 million households worldwide in 2002. "Youth Issues Paper 5 -- Using Global Media to Reach Youth: The 2002 MTV Staying Alive Campaign," is a downloadable, 26-page .pdf document outlining the "social diffusion" model taken by the campaign and exploring where youth get information and how that information is passed on. The paper measures success and outlines lessons learned on a global scale.
