 &lt;p&gt;Through television and radio programs, public discussions, a website, and PSA&#039;s, KEET-TV, Humboldt County Mental Health, Zoe Barnum High, the RAVEN Project, Crossroads/The North Coast Substance Abuse Council, and commercial KHUM-FM/KSLG-FM launched a public awareness campaign about the devastating effects of methamphetamine. &lt;I&gt;Community Voices for Meth Awareness&lt;/I&gt; includes commercial radio programming, a professional TV documentary and a student-produced TV documentary for use during school assemblies. Students, producers and local agencies worked together to create outreach materials for use in schools and outreach to the general community are offered online and at documentary screening events.&lt;/p&gt;

The Klamath-Trinity Joint Unified School District and KIDE-FM invited families to turn off the TV and come listen to stories again. &lt;EM&gt;Ya&#039;xotch&#039;xolik: People Telling Stories: Addressing Native Community Health Issues through the Healing Power of Stories&lt;/EM&gt; produced radio programming  including interviews to educate community members and youth-produced radio shows. WCBU-FM and the Institute for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation pooled expertise and outreach to raise public awareness of this issue through a series of radio features and PSAs. The &lt;I&gt;Senior Falls Prevention Project&lt;/I&gt; included a direct service component to provide training on strength building and prevention of falls to seniors across central Illinois.&lt;/p&gt;

Hui Malama Ola Na `Oiwi, in partnership with Hawai&#039;i Public Radio and KWXX-FM, created &lt;EM&gt;Being a Healthy Hawaiian&lt;/EM&gt;. The project used a new model of community gatherings with &quot;talk story&quot; sessions to promote dialogue about health concerns. HPR produced a 12-part series while commercial KWXX-FM, which covers rural and remote areas of the state, assisted with outreach through PSAs.&lt;/p&gt;

 &lt;p&gt;KASU-FM joined forces with the Arkansas Southern Rural Access Program at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) in &lt;I&gt;NEAR Health Careers&lt;/I&gt;. The project aimed to inform high school students about hometown rural health careers that will make life better for everyone. The project profiled students from Northeastern Arkansas enrolled in health care programs in a series of radio features. ASRAP developed a website targeting high school teachers that contains the radio programs as well as information on health care related educational programs.&lt;/p&gt;
