Guidelines for Submitting Media Clips

"All Sound Partners grantees may submit clips for streaming on this website. Please review the following guidelines.

Length:
No more than 10 minutes for each audio clip and 3 minutes for each video clip will be posted. Send an editted segment, or clearly indicate the in and out points of the segment you'd like to have streamed.

Links:
If you are streaming your project media on your website, please provide the URL and let us know whether we may link to it from your project profile on this site.

Formats for Submitting Audio:

• FTP: Send URL and password to Catherine Stifter. Clearly indicate the name of the file and additional information as required below.
• Electronic (.rm format preferred) files: please contact Catherine for additional instructions.
• CDs: please mail along with your name and originating station to Catherine Stifter, PO Box 426, North San Juan, CA 95960-0426. Include editted 10-minute segments or clearly indicate in and out points of your program. Must include name of clip, station, producer and a 2 sentence description of the program.

• DVD
• MiniDV recorded with either the ""standard""

  (used by all, except Sony and Panasonic) DV format

• Sony DVCAM
• SVHS
  
  Please mail video material with your name and originating station to Eve VanRensselaer, Sound Partners for Community Health, 2828 Marshall Court, Ste. 101, Madison, WI 53705. Include editted 3-minute segment or clearly indicate in and out points of your program. Must include name of clip, station, producer and a 2 sentence description of the program.
