Who Owns Your Local Media Outlets?

The Center for Public Integrity has developed a searchable database of over 65,000 radio, television, cable and telephone companies in the U.S. The database was prepared to help people trace the origins of the owners of their local media outlets. Searches can be done by area, call sign or company name and includes a corporate profile, basic financial information
and a graphic depicting ownership market share of each owner, including number of stations owned and percentage in the area.
